The Abel Practice in East Dulwich specialises in providing osteopathic treatment and advice for many painful conditions from foot problems through to headaches and migraine, and both chronic and acute back pain. We also offer sports and remedial massage and private or small group yoga classes.

The Abel Osteopathic Practice is located just two minutes walk from East Dulwich Station, within easy reach of Lordship Lane, Camberwell (SE5), Peckham and Nunhead (SE15), Honor Oak (SE23), Herne Hill (SE24), Brixton (SW2), and most areas of South London.

Richard has been an osteopath since he graduated with a BSc(Hons)Ost from the British School of Osteopathy in 2001 and has since worked in a number of practices in London and Norfolk. He is also trained in Medical Dry Needling (a western version of Acupuncture that can be used to reduce pain and muscle tension), which can be used along side osteopathy. Richard has also taught Anatomy and Physiology at the London College of Massage.
Richard has over eight years experience of treating patients from all walks of life, with many different problems, from simple back ache through to arthritic hips and migraine. Richard (who was born in Camberwell) is also an enthusiastic sportsman, especially running and cycling, and he has competed for Great Britain in triathlon. He treats many sports people, from the "occasional jogger" through to national champions.

Rachel has a BTEC diploma in sport and remedial massage from the London School of Sports Massage. She trained as a yoga teacher in India in 2005/06 and returns there regularly for further study. She teaches yoga at a number of venues in London and practices Ashtanga Yoga five days a week.
